Sakis is known for being specialist of the Maldives since 1999 and is today a leading photographer of the destination. With extensive travels throughout the Maldivian Archipelago he photographed with one single aim : to bring back unseen and unique images that would perfectly depict the real dreamy and unique beauty of the Maldives.

He has photographed several Hotels and Resorts of the Maldives, from 3 stars to famous and luxurious Hotel Properties, local islands, traditional sceneries, tropical and idyllic landscapes and since 2000, Maldives from the air.

MALDIVES AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY

Thrilled by this experience he has since then flown numerous times for assignments and personal projects, creating a breathtaking and unequalled collection of famous Maldives aerial photographs.

His stylish and inspiring photography was first published in 2005 with the first release of his Photography Book of Maldives “Dreaming of Maldives™”, followed by a series of yearly Maldives Calendars in 2006.

The success of the first edition and the request for fresh images led him to publish the second edition of Dreaming of Maldives™ in August 2008.

Dreaming of Maldives photography book and calendars are also available in various selected Hotels and Resorts in Maldives, Male City and at Male International Airport.
