I recently had the pleasure to photograph a luxury villa on the beautiful Island of Patmos, Greece, part of the Cyclades archipelago.
This property features a typical cycladic architectural identity with many gorgeous assets including its infinity pool, breathtaking sea views and aoutdoor spaces designed to fully embrace the panorama.
Among its most striking features is the infinity pool, overlooking the deep blue horizon, a key element in the visual storytelling of this villa photography project.
Pool / Horizon

The infinity pool is the visual heart of this luxury villa on Patmos Island. Blending seamlessly with the Aegean Sea, it creates a strong horizontal line between architecture and landscape. Photographing this space required precise control of light, color, and perspective to preserve the natural intensity of the blue tones and the vastness of the Cycladic horizon.
Outdoor Living & Poolside Atmosphere

The outdoor living areas extend the villa’s experience beyond its interiors. Poolside lounges and terraces are essential elements in luxury villa photography, as they communicate both lifestyle and atmosphere. From bright midday scenes to warm sunset tones, these spaces were captured to reflect the rhythm of life on Patmos.

Interior Spaces / Architecture & Sea Views

Interior photography focuses on balance, natural light, and spatial flow. In this Patmos villa, wide openings frame the sea as a permanent backdrop, reinforcing the strong connection between indoor spaces and the surrounding landscape. The goal is to maintain architectural clarity while letting the view remain central.

The villa’s architecture follows the Cycladic tradition, with clean lines, mineral textures, and soft tones designed to interact with the island’s light. Architectural and interior photography highlight proportions and materials, allowing the structure itself to tell its story without distraction.

This type of project is part of my broader work as an Airbnb photographer in Greece, focused on photographing distinctive villas and high-end private properties across the Greek islands.
