This Airbnb villa photography project in Naxos, Greece focuses on capturing the architecture, outdoor living spaces and interior atmosphere of a contemporary set of three Cycladic villas.
The owner requested a complete renewal of the existing photo library. Although the villa had already been photographed, the previous images did not accurately represent the architecture, interiors and surrounding landscape.
The objective of this new shoot was therefore to create a fresh, cohesive visual collection designed specifically for Airbnb listings and online promotion.
The photography session took place in March, during the off-season in Greece, allowing the owner to prepare the villa for the upcoming summer rental season. Working across several days made it possible to adapt continuously to the weather evolving conditions and capture the villa in a variety of natural lighting situations.

Photographing a villa in Naxos, Greece outside the summer months presents a very different set of conditions compared to peak season shoots. At this period, sunset occurs in a different position than during summer, producing cooler tones and a more neutral color palette across the landscape and architecture.
Weather conditions can also change rapidly, with moving clouds and variable light throughout the day. While this creates additional technical challenges, it also introduces more depth in the sky and atmosphere around the property.

The client wished to highlight the villa’s key assets, its outdoor jacuzzi terrace with unique open views over the Naxos landscape, and the traditional windmill landmark that gives the property its distinctive sense of place.
