A recent photography assignment at Anantara Kihavah Villas Maldives, one of the most iconic luxury resorts of the destination.
This project focused on aerial imagery to reveal island surroundings and villa privacy, complemented by architecture, interior images of the underwater restaurant, elegant dining spaces, wellness, yoga, spa, and destination photography.
Hero shots were captured throughout the process. Aerial photography played a central role in defining the resort’s identity. From above, the island layout, beach villa positioning, circulation lines, and degrees of privacy between villas become readable.
The client’s request was to document how architecture integrates into the landscape rather than produce promotional storytelling.
Anantara Kihavah has a strong and consistent wellness identity, therefore wellness and yoga imagery complete the visual narrative, captured through minimal compositions.
The objective throughout the project was consistency, a photographic language where destination, architecture, aerial perspective, and experience-driven spaces work together as a coherent visual system.
