This villa photography project in Chania, Crete showcases a work project covering interior and exterior spaces.
The client’s brief was to highlight the villa as a personal construction project, with particular attention given to the layout, handcrafted details, and the surrounding countryside.
Located in the valleys of Chania, the villa is a typical modern Cretan property overlooking open landscapes and countryside, with banana trees framing the pool area and views extending from both indoor and outdoor spaces. Photography focuses on showing the relationship between the house, terraces, pool, and landscape, while keeping the representation straightforward and faithful to the property.
The owner wished to enhance the views and special perspectives offered from the villa, particularly from the pool and terrace areas, which led to the creation of a dedicated hero image capturing the depth of the landscape, the sky, and the relationship between the house and its surroundings.
